Buildings As Kit-Of-Parts

I spent four years as a full-time, salaried industrial product designer for Project Frog in San Francisco, CA. I was primarily responsible for working with a small, in-house team of product designers and architects, as well as engineering consultants, to design high-performance buildings for education, healthcare, and retail markets. Project Frog’s approach to building design was to develop a system of components (ie. a kit of parts) that could be combined in varied ways to provide a catalog of building options for a range of clients with differing programming requirements.
